Child Molesters Are Hoping To Kidnap
Child molesters know which children will be the easiest to abuse. Some look for children that are alone walking home or taking a short cut. Carlie Brucia was kidnapped as she walked home from her friend’s house. She took a shortcut behind a car wash. The man that raped and murdered her saw her walking on the road and he saw when she took the shortcut. Joseph Smith was caught on tape, convicted, and sentenced to death, but his capture was rare. Molesters that look for an opportunity to snatch a child are the most dangerous. Teach your children to fight and scream as much as they can if someone approaches them, because attackers do not want to bring attention.
Child molesters that kidnap use a lot of tricks. They will use the “I lost my dog” technique. They may have a fake badge, ask for help of any kind, offer candy or toys, or make any promise they think will work. Some may say that the child’s parents wanted him to pick them up. Developing a code word with your child is a good idea. Molesters will also approach children that look depressed and they can easily pick out victimized children. Teaching children how to be safe and what to avoid is necessary for all children.
